Wholesale & Institutional Inquiries
We work with a small number of professional buyers — instrument repair operations, finishing-supply houses, museum and federal conservation programs, and fine furniture restoration shops — who need pure shellac and Merit burn-in sticks in real volume.
Who we work with
The accounts we keep are run by people who know the material. Luthier supply distributors stocking shop-grade button lac. Conservation programs sealing historic surfaces with reversible, period-correct finishes. Federal historic preservation specialists matching original chemistry on protected work. Furniture restoration studios that need consistent grade behavior across decades-old projects.
What these accounts have in common: they buy because the material is right, and they stay because the supply is reliable.
What we offer
Pure shellac in bulk. Every grade in our catalog — button lac, seedlac, wax-containing flake, dewaxed flake — sourced direct from a fifth-generation refining family. Same material we sell on the site, in case-quantity packaging by arrangement. Volume tiers and per-account pricing.
Merit burn-in repair sticks at trade volume. Natural shellac and Brazilian gum rosin, made by hand. Eighty-plus colors, full-size and half-size. Period-correct chemistry for antique and instrument work — distinct from the synthetic-resin sticks the volume market offers. Available wholesale under the Merit mark.
Co-branded arrangements where it serves both sides. If your customers benefit from your name appearing alongside ours — a luthier supply that wants its mark on the burn-in stick next to Merit, a conservation supplier whose shelf reads cleaner with dual branding — we will have that conversation.
